About Our Teachers
Ms. Michelle Mulligan - Owner/Teacher
Hi! I am Ms. Michelle and I am a mom of 3 , ages 26, 23 and 12. I attended CSU Chico, where I studied early childhood development. Throughout college, I worked with preschool thru kindergarten aged children at an on campus childcare facility. In 2001, I entered the corporate world and have over 20 years of experience in teaching , training, coaching, mentoring and developing hundreds of individuals in the work place as well as working with individuals with disabilities. I have received extensive training and obtained many certificates in the areas of management, communication, employee development and mentoring. In 2021, I made the decision to resign from the corporate world and pursue my passion....Teaching. Shortly after resigning, I was offered a teaching position on a homeschool campus and began homeschooling my youngest daughter Madelyn.
After completing a year of teaching on a homeschool campus and having an in-home pod, I decided to find my own location so that I can have a dedicated space to teach a variety of classes. We offer an awesome assortment of core and enrichment classes and also offer tutoring and homeschool consulting. I am 100% committed to providing a safe , yet fun learning environment, in which students can connect with peers and form lasting friendships. It is my personal mission to create connections between students, as well as parents, in order to form a thriving community.
I am licensed and insured and am teaching under the name, OC Liberated Learning!
I am an Approved Vendor with Cabrillo Point Academy, and SunCoast Prep Academy.
Ms. Sabrina Jones - Teacher
Ms. Sabrina is a graduate of CSU Fullerton where she got her BA in Theatre Education. In 2016 she started assisting at a local after school theatre program where she fell in love with teaching. She has since taught from kindergarten to high school seniors. No matter the subject, she makes sure to help students have fun and find the joy in learning new things. Sabrina brings a wonderful energy and is very passionate about investing in youth. She is looking forward to being part of the OC Liberated Learning team.
Our Mission
Ms. Michelle and OC Liberated Learning is committed to providing a variety of in- person classes and tutoring sessions to help assist families that have chosen to homeschool their children. We also offer a 4 day core program for students to help create consistancy with learning and give students the opportunity to connect with other peers. We firmly believe in freedom in education and are committed to serving homeschool families in our local community.
Our Location
Our in-person classrooms are located in beautiful San Juan Capistrano , just a short walk to the San Juan Capistrano Mission, San Juan Capistrano train station and the Los Rios Historic District. Our Facility has 3 separate learning spaces so we can offer a variety of classes for families to choose from.
