About Our Staff
Ms. Michelle Mulligan Owner/Teacher
Hi! I am Ms. Michelle and I am a mom of 3 , ages 27, 24 and 13. I attended CSU Chico, where I studied early childhood development. Throughout college, I worked with preschool thru kindergarten aged children at an on campus childcare facility. In 2001, I entered the corporate world and have over 20 years of experience in teaching , training, coaching, mentoring and developing hundreds of individuals in the work place as well as working with individuals with disabilities. I have received extensive training and obtained many certificates in the areas of management, communication, employee development and mentoring. In 2021, I made the decision to resign from the corporate world and pursue my passion....Teaching. Shortly after resigning, I was offered a teaching position on a homeschool campus and began homeschooling my youngest daughter Maddie.
After completing a year of teaching on a homeschool campus and having an in-home pod, I decided to find my own location so that I can have a dedicated space to teach a variety of classes. We offer an awesome assortment of core and enrichment classes and also offer tutoring and homeschool consulting. I am 100% committed to providing a safe , yet fun learning environment, in which students can connect with peers and form lasting friendships. It is my personal mission to create connections between students, as well as parents, in order to form a thriving community.
I am licensed and insured and am teaching under the name, OC Liberated Learning.
I am an Approved Vendor with Cabrillo Point Academy, and SunCoast Prep Academy.
Ms. Sabrina Jones Teacher/Activities Director
Ms. Sabrina is a graduate of CSU Fullerton where she got her BA in Theatre Education. In 2016 she started assisting at a local after school theatre program where she fell in love with teaching. She has since taught from kindergarten to high school seniors. No matter the subject, she makes sure to help students have fun and find the joy in learning new things. Sabrina brings a wonderful energy and is very passionate about investing in youth. We are so grateful to have Ms. Sabrina as a part of the OC Liberated Learning team.
Mr. Thomas Rigdon Teacher/Admin
As both the 8th Grade Teacher and School Administrator at OC Liberated Learning, I bring a combination of leadership, dedication, and a deep connection to the mission of our school. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Economics through the IVC/CSUF partnership, and I apply that knowledge daily to support both our students and the continued growth of our program.
My journey with OC Liberated Learning began through my mother’s inspiring work building this community from the ground up. After watching the school grow so quickly and getting to know many of the families firsthand, I felt called to step in and contribute in a meaningful way, both in the classroom and behind the scenes.
I’ve been tutoring peers in math since high school, and that experience taught me the value of patience, clarity, and genuine connection. At OCLL, I strive to create a space where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to take ownership of their education.
It’s an honor to be part of a team that prioritizes flexibility, community, and academic freedom.
