Course Overview
This core math class follows grade-level California learning standards and uses the Math Mammoth Curriculum to build strong foundational math skills.
Each class begins with basic math review games to strengthen fluency and recall, followed by teacher-led instruction and workbook practice. Students will also use a variety of hands-on learning tools, activities, and games to make math engaging and enjoyable.
Homework: Students may have homework if the assigned lesson or classwork is not completed during class time.

Workshop Overview
This math workshop provides additional instruction and practice to support concepts taught in students’ regular math lessons. Students receive extra class time to strengthen skills, complete assignments, and build confidence in a supportive learning environment.

Course Overview

Lessons are designed to strengthen reading skills, written expression, grammar, and overall comprehension through a combination of independent and collaborative work.

Course Overview
This spelling and vocabulary class focuses on grade-level spelling rules, word study, proper usage, and understanding words in context.

Course Overview
This writing class focuses on building strong sentence and paragraph structure, organizing ideas clearly, and improving overall written expression. Students will practice using descriptive language, strong verbs, and effective word choice while developing proofreading and editing skills.
Students will explore persuasive, narrative, expository, and descriptive writing and complete weekly writing assignments using a variety of creative prompts designed to build confidence, fluency, and organization in their writing.

Course Overview
This language arts class helps students build a strong foundation in reading and writing through an imaginative, engaging, and educational learning environment.
During the first semester, students will complete one or two novel studies from the Magic Tree House series, using the stories to strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and reading-aloud skills.
Students will also explore the art of poetry and create their own individual poetry books, giving them opportunities to develop creativity and express themselves through writing.
